The following images are of the gold crown
and underlying material taken from my molar teeth #30 & #31. The images
speak much about the corrosion that takes place in mercury fillings "hidden
away" under gold crowns. All dental cements used to glue crowns break
down in the mouth, and direct electrical contact can occur between the filling
and the gold.
As was discovered, tooth #30 didn't have a mercury filling, one of two
out of five that was without mercury. Instead, it was a silver composite
filling called "miracle mix".
Astonishingly, this crown shows the very least corrosion of all my retrieved
samples. Even though this crown has corrosion spots from the silver in the
"miracle mix" reacting with the gold. Tooth #30 is shown only
in the first image below, all other images are of tooth #31's crown and
amalgam.
Tooth number 31 is another story all together. From what I can see, the
gold and amalgam must have been in direct contact to sponsor the level of
corroded change present in some of the retrieved chunks. The corrosion materials
on the edge of the crown are silver-tin byproducts lacking mercury.
I remind you the filling started out 50% mercury. The missing mercury
all escaped into my biological ecosystem, my blood stream, my tissues, and
my GI track. My resulting ill health from mercury exposure is now well documented.
The only amalgam section demonstrating true uncorroded alloy is the silver
portion of the chunk marked by the dentists drill. That particular chunk
is especially remarkable since the portions of that same chunk untouched
by the drill show extreme corrosion.
All the rest of the chunks show that the amalgam has changed phases to
varying degrees, all releasing mercury.
The images are magnified between 6 and 24X. The mounting surface is yellow
printer ink, which conveys a reddish-yellowish tint to the images.
Each of the gif's is "clickable" for viewing a full size jpeg
of the image. What you are looking at is the inside of gold crowns and chunks
of amalgam retrieved from the underlying buildup.
The first image is of tooth #30's crown, the second and third images
are of tooth #31's crown.
    These images
are all of tooth #31 amalgam chunks.
